All pieces are for soprano and continuo except those marked for alto (our scores do not include keyboard realization or elaboration).

Includes 95 pages of music, facsimile samples from the original 1655 print, 13 pages of extensive and detailed critical introductory notes on the work and its place in Strozzi's corpus of compositions, editorial procedures, original Latin texts with new English translations, and all 14 pieces of Opus 5 in clear, historically correct modern transcription.
